I’ve just finished my fifth book manuscript, and I’m beginning to send it out to agents and presses. This will be my first prose book, and it has been the most personally transformational work to date. As Yeats wrote:

The friends that have it I do wrong
When ever I remake a song,
Should know what issue is at stake:
It is myself that I remake.
